Vadodara District Collector, Shalini Agarwal visited Padra on Friday and decided to increase the facilities of COVID treatment and gave instructions for its immediate implementation. The number of 70 beds currently available in Padra's hospitals has increased to 122 beds. Of the 52 newly expanded beds, 40 beds have oxygen facilities.
She said, all the preparations will be completed in three days and treatment will be available in one more hospital along with the approval of a new hospital for treatment. While an existing hospital was allowed to increase the number of beds. Thus, the number of recognized hospitals in Padra has now increased to 5.
