The corona centers of Sayaji and Gotri Hospitals are constantly being equipped with state-of-the-art life-saving devices by the state government. A total of 50 oxygen concentrators have recently been supplied to Sayaji and Gotri hospitals. SSG hospital gets 20 and Gotri gets such concentrators. Informing about this special medical device the administrative nodal officer of the COVID department of Sayaji Hospital, Dr.O. B. Belim said that the device is very useful in absorbing oxygen from the air and giving it to the patient. The device is a handy and convenient alternative to an oxygen bottle. The COVID section here is divided into 6 floors. It can be used as easily as a portable oxygen cylinder when a patient is in need of oxygen needs to be moved from one department to another. As it absorbs oxygen from the air, the supply is uninterrupted and it can be powered by electricity as well as batteries.
