Cracks in the ceiling of the Vadodara Railway Station underpass and lack of lights can cause passing motorists serious danger to life. The underpass near the railway station connecting the eastern and the western parts of Vadodara city was recently beautified by the Corporation. Led lights, big signboards, and fiber sheets on the ceiling give a modern look to the underpass and the area. It also provided a glimpse of the smart city project. However, the upper slabs of the underpass developed cracks and the fiber sheets are hanging from the ceiling which can pose a danger for passing motorists. Few of the lights are also broke. Immediate action should have been taken by the authorities, as this underpass is heavily used. Due to the lack of lights in the underpass, it can cause fatal accidents.
