Artists have been affected as they do not have any work for months due to coronavirus imposed lockdown. In Unlock 5, occasions are allowed on the condition that people follow the guidelines of Covid-19. On Wednesday the artists from Vadodara staged a protest at Gandhinagar Gruh and demanded from the government to allow artists to do their business too. Sound system operator Bhaveshbhai Patel said that the lockdown was imposed to control the Corona pandemic. Meanwhile, most of the small and large businesses are allowed in Unlock 5. Auspicious and inauspicious occasions like marriage-death are allowed up to a limit of 200 persons, but playing music system on occasions is prohibited. Vatsala Patil, a well-known singer, and an RSP leader said that the condition of singers and musicians has become dire in the Corona era.
