The second wave of Coronavirus has already begun across the state as the social distance was not maintained during the by-elections and Diwali festivities by people. Vadodara has also seen a slight increase in cases in the last week. Following which, 828 teams of Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) have started the door-to-door survey in the city. Teams are screening every member of the household with a temperature gun and, if necessary, oxygen tests and corona tests. Earlier the number of corona cases in Vadodara was around 91 a day. Now daily cases have reached 105. A night curfew has been imposed in Vadodara city from Saturday starting from 9 pm to 6 am. Police have also registered cases of curfew violations against people leaving their homes unnecessarily. On the other hand, the team of VMC's health department has also been alerted and they have increased the corona tests in the city.
