The Baroda Central Co.Op. Bank elections are held according to the taluka zone. Around 1,500 members from the banks, co-operatives, buying and selling unions, housing as well as credit societies elect 14 directors. During the election process, 10 including Atul Patel, the current chairman of the bank were declared uncontested as no one can file candidature against the directors. The election was held on December 10th where 166 out of 172 voters cast their ballots. Former Karjan MLA Satish Patel, Dilip Patel, Yogendrabhai Chhatrasinh, and Shailesh Patel won the four seats of The Baroda Central Cooperative Bank, the largest in the district co-operative sector.
