Intern doctors of Vadodara continued their strike for the third day demanding to increase their stipend as per the other states. They also demanded Rs.1000 per day for working in the Corona ward. They said they will intensify their protest till their demands are accepted by the government. From Monday intern doctors have been on an indefinite strike with a demand from the government to increase their stipend. The protesting intern doctors demanded that the government should increase the stipend from Rs 12,800 to Rs 20,000. They said the other states are giving good stipends and they also demand the same from the government. Further, they also demanded Rs.1,000 per day for working in the Corona ward. The strike continues for the third day and the doctors will not give up protesting and instead, they said they will continue till their demands are met. They said in the coming days other doctors will join them in support of their demands.
