In view of the fire incidents that happened inside Covid hospitals, the Vadodara administration organized a mock drill to check the preparedness of the staff in case of a similar emergency. The drill was organized inside the Gotri Covid hospital. Gujarat witnessed fire incidents in Covid hospitals of Ahmedabad and Rajkot where patients under treatment lost their lives. In Baroda also fire was reported in SSG hospital but patients were shifted to safety in time by the fire brigade and administration. To avoid such incidents the administration needs to prepare themselves with regular training.
