In support of the ongoing farmer's movement against the agricultural law, the State Congress had organized various programs to pay homage to the farmers who lost their lives in the movement. On Tuesday, tributes were paid to them at the District Congress Office. A controversy erupted, as during this tribute the State Deputy President Dr. Jitubhai Patel was fined by the police for not wearing the mask. Today is the 27th day of the farmers' agitation against the Agricultural Law. The agitating farmers, who had earlier fasted for one day, have now announced a 24-hour fast. Congress had organized a tribute program at every district headquarters in Gujarat today to pay respect to a total of 30 farmers who were martyred in the ongoing agitation against agricultural laws in Delhi.
