On the occasion of Kisan Diwas, leaders of Vadodara Khedut Samaj paid homage to the farmers who lost their lives in the movement at Mahatma Gandhinagar gruh and protested against the agricultural law. However, police detained 5 farmers, including 2 women for violating notification in place.
For the last 21 days, the farmers are agitating on the Delhi border against the agricultural law. As many as 29 farmers have lost their lives in the ongoing farmer's movement. Today on the occasion of Farmers Day, protest programs were held all across Gujarat including Vadodara to oppose anti-farmer agricultural laws and paying tributes to the farmers.
