The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) has won the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) elections for the fourth time in a row in Vadodara. The BJP has won 69 seats while Congress has won 7 seats. The BJP panel has won in Ward No-2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, and 19 and the Congress managed to get the panel won in Ward No-1. In Ward No. 4 Anil Parmar and in Ward No. 7, Congress Sitting Corporator Jagruti Rana were defeated. In Ward No. 13, BJP won 3 seats, while Congress won 1 seat in which Congress' Balu Surve has won for the third time in a row. In Ward No.14, Congress Councilor Hemangini Kolekar was defeated.
