NOTA (None of the above) is an important part of the election process, and the voters always have the option of choosing None Of The Above if they don't like any candidates of any parties. Atul Gamechi, a social activist in Vadodara wore a PPE kit to spread the message of NOTA at Gandhinagar Town Hall prior to the elections. He was spreading the message among the public so that people know their rights and the importance of NOTA in the local body election. Voters could not vote for any one of the four candidates, especially when using NOTA. That is, the voter who wants to use this option will only have to press the button and register. Barodians enthusiastically voted for the Mahanagarpalika Elections 2021. As per the statistics, Gujarat recorded a 46.1% turnout this year, which is slightly higher than previous elections.
