In recent times, some police personnel have been found altering their uniforms with various embellishments, seeking fame on social media. Such instances of police officers creating their own unique designs have prompted action. Gujarat Police has issued a directive to cease this practice, and now, the use of 'reels' as a means to modify police uniforms has been officially prohibited. The Director General of Police (DGP) in Gujarat has issued orders to initiate disciplinary action against 4 Police Sub-Inspectors (PSIs) and 13 constables for their involvement in such activities
