The curfew timing in Vadodara city has been extended to 9 pm starting from Friday, i.e 19th March 2021. The administration also decided to close down malls and multiplexes on Saturday and Sunday in view of the crowd and requested people to avoid public places. To stop the transition the Dr. Vinod Rao Officer on Special Duty had a high-level meeting with the city Police Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, and Collector and took some important decisions for the city. Dr. Rao said that the cases are increasing rapidly and around 2,500 patients are currently under treatment in hospitals. As a precautionary step, they decided to impose a night curfew from 9 pm and close down malls and multiplexes on Saturday and Sunday. For markets, the Joint Enforcement Team will check the guidelines being followed and strictly maintain social distancing.
