Gujarat Deputy CM Nitin Patel declared to start Covid Care Centers in four Atithi Gruh in Vadodara to accommodate the primary symptomatic patients. He warned the private hospitals that strict action will be taken as per the New Epidemic Act if they unnecessarily admit patients just for bills. He also added that beds are available in hospitals and in case of any need the Commissioner and Collector can increase beds in hospitals in Vadodara city and District. Vadodara is witnessing a spike in corona cases and the administration is trying to curb the spread by taking control of the situation. Deputy CM Nitin Patel reached Vadodara on Saturday and chaired a high-level meeting at the Circuit House with top officials.
