With the instructions of Vadodara District Magistrate, Shalini Agarwal, Additional District Magistrate issued a notification amending the earlier relevant notifications under various applicable provisions of the Criminal Procedure Act, National Disaster Management Act, and Gujarat Epidemic Diseases Act in all rural areas of Vadodara district. They have instructed all the concerned departments, including the Superintendent of Police to implement the amended restrictions with immediate effect. According to the revised notification, no more than 50 persons may be present at weddings held in any open or closed space in the rural areas of the district with immediate effect. Gatherings, public celebrations, including political, religious, social events, receptions, birthdays, and public gatherings for the festivals in April and May are not allowed.
