Vadodara District Local Crime Branch chased a tempo carrying boxes of beer and arrested two accused with the liquor. Along with thist the Chhani Police raided a godown near Ranoli and seized a large quantity of foreign liquor worth Rs 12,86,400. The team was informed about a tempo loaded with liquor was heading towards Dena village from Ranoli. The LCB team kept a watch at Dumad crossing and tried to intercept the tempo. But the driver tried to escape and the team chased the tempo in a filmy style and caught them on Dena road. While checking, the team found beers worth Rs 1,53,600 kept in the boxes. Police arrested Mehta Ashok Krishnaram Bishnoi and Omprakash Hukmaram Bishnoi, originally from Rajasthan and currently at Bil, Kalali Road.
