In the rural areas of the Vadodara district, the covid-19 vaccine has started for all persons in the age group of 18 to 44 years. Minister of State for Narmada Development Yogesh Patel inspected the vaccination operation at Waghodia Primary Health Center in the presence of MLA Madhubhai Srivastava. 25 vaccination sites have been set up in the rural areas of the Vadodara district. According to Chief District Health Officer, Dr. Surendra Jain, "200 beneficiaries will be vaccinated at one site". All beneficiaries will have to book their vaccination slot after registering on the Cowin portal. A special notice is given to all citizens that registration will not be possible on the spot for 18 to 44 years. While vaccination of citizens above 45 years of age will also continue as per routine at 25 centers.
