The State Animal Husbandry Department in collaboration with GVK-EMRI has provided 108 veterinary dispensaries across the state for the protection of animal health. 10 villages have been connected with a mobile animal dispensary that visits the hospital as per the schedule and provides free animal health care services. Veterinarians can call 1962 in case of urgency, emergency and get the health services of the mobile veterinary clinic in their area for their seriously ill or injured animal. In the Vadodara district, 17 mobile veterinary dispensaries were started by the state government last year.
