2 young boys had fallen inside the Narmada Candal passing from Gorwa Panchvati towards Ankodiya. As per eyewitness they heard the cries of the boys and rushed to the spot. With the help of a saree, they managed to save one of the boys. The other one was rescued by the TP-13 fire brigade team and shifted to a hospital. As per available details, the boys had reached the Gorwa Panchvati Canal towards Ankodiya on their cycle and were said to have fallen inside the canal. Both shouted for help and two persons standing nearby rushed to them and managed to save one. "As per routine I came to collect flowers and was having tea when we heard the cries of the boys. We rushed to the spot and with the help of a saree given by a lady, we managed to save one. We tried to search for the other boy but failed to locate him and informed the fire brigade and police". The youth was later rescued by the fire brigade and shifted to the hospital in serious condition, who later died. Former Councilor Rajes
