As part of the celebrations to mark the completion of five years of the state government, a computer-raised drawing of 382 housing was held in the hands of Minister of State Yogesh Patel in the city's Sayajinagar House on August 7, 2021, by Vadodara Mahanagar Seva Sadan (VMSS). The City Engineer has lodged a complaint at the Navapura Police station against the Corporation's Executive Engineer (Affordable Housing) and MIC Expert for cheating and betraying the corporation and the beneficiaries by changing the list of 382 beneficiaries of the drawing and putting another list on the corporation's website. Police have registered a case based on the complaint. Shailesh Mistry, the city engineer of the corporation, lodged a complaint at the Navapura police station, saying that various programs were organized on the completion of five years of the state government.
