A meeting of the Board of Trustees was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Surendra Patel, President, Pavagadh Kalika Mandir Trust where discussions were held on Raju Bhatt, accused in the rape case against a college girl in Vadodara. He resigned from the post of Secretary in a letter to the Pavagadh Temple Trust which was accepted at the meeting of the temple trust. Surendra Patel, President of Pavagadh Kalika Mandir Trust, said that the meeting was called in connection with Navratri preparations and ongoing developmental works. However, the meeting also addressed the complaint lodged against Raju Bhatt, Secretary of the Trust. He had written a letter to stay away from the functioning of the trust and requested to release him from the post of Secretary and hand over the responsibility to someone else. So he has been relieved from the post of Secretary and the responsibility has been given to another person. . But when the crime will be proved, he will be removed from the Trust
