A policeman from Varanama police station in Vadodara district died after he crashed into a parked tempo near Tarsali on the National Highway. He was on his way home from night duty when the accident happened. As per avaliable details, he was on night duty and was on his way home on his bike. At that time, he crashed into the parked tempo (that had no parking light or signal) on the Surat-Ahmedabad highway in the middle of the third line. Receiving serious injuries he died on the spot and his helmet was also broken due to the impact. He is survived by his wife and two children. The incident was reported to the family and they rushed to the spot immediately. Makarpura Police also reached the spot and started investigation after sent the body to Sayaji Hospital for post-mortem. A case has been registered against the tempo driver on the basis of a complaint lodged by Hasmukhbhai Solanki, brother of the policeman who died in the accident.
