On Thursday, Vadodara Police Headquarters observed Police Commemoration Day by paying tribute to city police officers who died in the line of duty. Dr. Shamsher Singh, the police commissioner, announced a new initiative to honor them by naming a school or road in their community after them.
Each year on 21st October, India honors the sacrifices of the ten police officers who were martyred under Chinese fire in 1959. Vadodara Police also paid tribute to the brave police officers who died in the line of duty on Thursday
