In the last two months, the Labour Department Office has registered 30,000 unorganized laborers as the Central Government decided to issue e-shram cards to the unorganized workers to assure social security to them so that they can avail advantages of an insurance scheme. Unorganized workers include domestic workers, self-employed workers, or salaried workers according to section-2 of the Unorganized Labour Social Security Act,2008.
