On Friday around 1:30 am, two ATMs of SBI Bank at Gotri Road Sevasi road caught fire. Villagers rushed to the spot late at night after the siren blew due to a fire in ATM machines. The villagers rushed to the spot and reported the fire brigade. The fire bridge rushed to the spot and controlled the fire with a continuous flow of water. However, the ATMs were gutted completely before the fire was brought under control. The incident was immediately reported to the fire brigade as well as to bank manager Harishbhai, who rushed to the spot. A short circuit is assumed to be the reason for the fire breakout and a police investigation is underway. It is feared that a big amount of cash has been burnt in the fire. However, the bank manager said that an investigation is underway to know the exact amount of cash lost in the incident.
