The Director of the Special Protection Group (SPG), Arunkumar Sinha, from the 1987 IPS batch, has passed away. He had been unwell for some time. Apart from his role in the SPG, he also served as the Inspector General (IG) of the Border Security Force (BSF) in Gujarat for several years. His unfortunate demise has left a sense of mourning within the IPS fraternity once again.
