Helpline no.: 1962 Karuna Ambulance, a mobile veterinary hospital run by GVK EMRI are ready to rescue and treat injured birds amidst the Uttarayan festivities in Vadodara city. An equipped ambulance van, with a team of veterinary doctors, will be there to give timely treatment to the injured birds and save their lives.  Like every year from, this year the ambulance services will be active from 10-20 January, 2022. Every year, various camps are organized in different areas of Vadodara city by GVK EMRI, Gujarat State Animal Husbandry Department, and Gujarat Forest Department with an aim to save birds and treat them in case of injury.  Karuna Ambulance has so far treated 24,841 unclaimed and unowned animals free of cost.
