With the recent 73rd Republic Day celebrations leaving behind an aura of patriotism and national pride, Parul University was celebrating this pride with one of its students commencing his journey in the Indian Armed Forces. Gautam Jha has become the name that has left the many youths of this University and the city inspired to serve the nation through his recent selection in the Indian Naval Academy by clearing the Combined Defence Services Exam and securing an AIR rank of 31.  To express his passion for national service Gautam framed the ideal path in his academic journey that would lead him right where he needed to be in his civil service career. Gautam began his journey with the NCC upon joining Parul University and being nurtured by the University’s Armed Forces Motivational Cell, which allowed him to gain a real-time and in-depth learning experience into the inner workings of the armed forces.  <
