The event of 8th January, 2023 will be a grand event for Vadodara and the sponsor companies are gearing up for the 10th edition of the International Marathon.  But this time the marathon is different because the focus is on the heritage. It will also include the celebration of most of the heritage sites of the city.  Participants from national and international level are going to participate.CM Bhupendra Patel will inaugurate the marathon tomorrow (8th January), Sunday at 7.30 am from Navlakhi ground in the city. He will be accompanied by Minister of State for Home Affairs Harsh Sanghavi. They will flag off the scheduled run at 5 am. The Chief Minister will flag off Jawan Run, Swachhta Run, Sankalp Run and Fun Run. As an accomplished half marathoner, Harsh Sanghvi has agreed to run the 5 km race.
