On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, the G-20 City walk (Marathon) was held in 26 municipalities of the Vadodara Zone in India. The marathon was organized as part of the G-20 Summit-2023 to raise public awareness on important issues. Members of Parliament, legislators, city servants, citizens, and school students participated in the event, which was attended by 7771 people. The G-20 Summit-2023, with the theme of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" from Indian culture, is being hosted by India this year. As a result, the municipalities in the state are directly or indirectly involved in various programs throughout the year to ensure maximum public participation.
