The Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed bullet train project is set to benefit from advanced technology as IG Drones has been awarded the contract to monitor the construction progress. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor (MAHSR) is a joint project between India and Japan and is the country's first bullet train corridor. The project is expected to significantly reduce travel time between the two cities from eight hours to just over two hours. The monitoring of the bullet train project will be done through the use of high-tech drones, which will help in the timely identification of any construction issues and will also ensure adherence to the timeline. The drones will provide real-time aerial footage of the construction work, which will be analysed using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) algorithms to detect any issues. This will help in the timely resolution of problems, ensuring that the project remains on track and is completed within the stipulated time frame.
