Four firms have submitted their bids for the design and construction of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train's Shilphata-Zaroli corridor. The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) announced that it had received four bids on Monday, April 11, 2023. The four companies that submitted their bids are L&T Infrastructure Development Projects Limited, Tata Projects Limited, Afcons Infrastructure Limited, and Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Limited. The NHSRCL will now evaluate the bids and award the contract to the successful bidder. The Shilphata-Zaroli corridor is a crucial section of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project, which is set to be the first high-speed rail corridor in India. The corridor spans a distance of approximately 156.7 kilometers and includes ten stations.
