A country that is always on the verge of war, has bowed down to two rival groups once again as a civil war has caused unrest in the Northeast African country. On the 15th of April, a fight broke out between rival factions of the military government of Sudan. All hell broke loose when clashes were reported in the capital city of Khartoum and the Darfur region. The fight erupted when Paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), headed by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, attacked several key government sites. Numerous airstrikes, gunfire, and artillery were reported across Sudan, including Khartoum. The battle between RSF leader Dagalo and Sudan’s de facto leader and army chief Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan has led the country to a renewed civil war, which is being referred to as a “burgeoning civil war."
