In observance of International Plastic Bag Free Day, which takes place on July 3, a global initiative aimed at eliminating plastic bag usage, CCF-Vadodara's team took to the major vegetable markets in Vadodara, including Sama, Gorva, Karelibaug, Chhani, and Sayajigunj. Their mission was to distribute cloth bags to customers while educating vegetable vendors about the harmful impact of plastic bags and informing them about the ban on single-use plastics. CCF, an abbreviation for Caravan Classroom Foundation, was established by Rajeshwari Singh, also known as the walking girl of Gujarat. This non-governmental organization (NGO) actively engages in educational initiatives and awareness campaigns focused on plastic pollution through events and workshops.
