Renowned filmmaker Hrishikesh Mukherjee, fondly known as Hrishi Da, directed numerous popular movies during his illustrious career, but it is his 1971 masterpiece, 'Anand,' that remains etched in the collective memory. This poignant film revolves around the life of a terminally ill man who spreads boundless joy wherever he goes. Rajesh Khanna delivered a remarkable performance in the titular role, and the movie also marked the early appearance of a talented newcomer, Amitabh Bachchan.
