It is the city which is the epitome of culture, manner, architecture, cuisine etc. Dating back to the old days, Lucknow was situated on the banks of river Gomti. Mughals had meticulously mingled with the charisma and the rich heritage of this city. After the defeat of Nawabs in 1858, Lucknow came into the hands of Britishers.
